I wish I had a friend group like the Scoobies in Buffy

or maybe being neurotic and not brave at all I would fit in better with a friend group like in Seinfeld- obsessing with other people over every little action of everyone else, while never actually admitting you like the other people and instead laughing at their various downfalls while enjoying a comfortable familiarity with them.

at the moment I’m more in a Mulder and Scully type friendship, in that I have one close friend (or I could say two) except there’s no wonderful UST which is being prevented from being resolved due to the presence of various aliens and government conspiracies. more a Mulder and Scully type friendship in that hey, I really love you but frankly I’ve got no one else to rely on. though in this case the other person does, and I’m the one who only has them.
